You know that

Vegetable is the technical gastronomic and nutritional name referring to the different green parts of a plant that can be used in human nutrition, such as – for example – the leaves, roots, stem.

The term vegetable, on the other hand, generally refers to all vegetables that come from the garden and are therefore cultivated and subsequently harvested.

Vegetables are divided into:

Fruiting vegetables: this category includes, for example, courgettes, peppers, aubergines and – in general – all plants that produce a fruit.
Leaf vegetables: e.g. spinach, cabbage, lettuce etc.
Flowering vegetables: broccoli, cauliflower and asparagus itself.
Seed vegetables: this category includes all pulses, such as broad beans, peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas, chickling peas, lupins.
Bulb vegetables: as can be easily guessed, this includes onions, garlic, leeks, etc.

There are also other categories of vegetables such as stem and tuber vegetables, which include – respectively – fennel, celery and potatoes and topinanbur.

Vegetariano is a perfect sauce to season pasta, expecialli fusilloni and paccheri. In fact, their shape

 holds the seasoning beautifully!
