You know that

The botanical name for the olive tree is Olea europaea, meaning “European olive”. In fact, the olive tree is found and cultivated traditionally in all the countries of the Mediterranean, as well as in Australia, New Zealand, North and South America and South Africa. Olives are of major agricultural and economical importance in the Mediterranean region as the source of excellent extra vergin olive oil Evo oil is one of the core ingredients in Mediterranean cuisine.

La Mora is our 100% certified organic extra virgin olive oil obtained from olives cultivated in the gentle hills of the south-east of Sicily in the Val di Noto area, harvested manually in five hectares of organic olive groves, a family estate located at about 400-500 metres above sea level blessed by a good amount of sun all year round.
La Mora is a blend between two Sicilian cultivars: Moresca accounts for the 80% of the blend, the rest is Nocellara del Belice. We strip manually, usually from September to October. Cold pressed immediately after harvest, our EVO oil is not filtered and it is bottled only after a period of decantation in stainless steel silos under nitrogen. Extraction method is via Pieralisi equipment on a continuous mechanical cycle and a cold extraction process. No addition of water during the separation of the oil from the olive residues and no filtering.
The extra virgin olive oil from the Moresca cultivar abounds in polyphenols and is therefore a healthy and very beneficial food for health.
Bright green in colour, La Mora has its own character. It shows medium to strong fruitness, hints of tomato, cut grass and artichoke, medium to intense spiciness and a delicate sharp taste. In cooking, it expresses with great flexibility: it goes well with salads, grilled white and red meats, legume soups and grilled vegetables.

La Mora is 100% certified organic with the CCPB Certification Authority code DD92.

I Mori, paté/dip
Ideal as an appetizer on croutons and canapés or to accompany grilled meat and fish. It can also accompany semi-mature and seasoned cheeses. Ready to serve on the table, during a picnic or an aperitif. You can also use the I Mori paté as a condiment for a tasty pasta dish or a cold pasta salad.

Est & Etna, pesto/dip
Both Est & Etna are a pesto sauce, perfect complements to season our pasta, but you can also use them to spread on croutons, as a dip for vegetables, or to accompany meat.

Preserves

Store in a cool, dry place at a temperature of around 10°. Once opened, cover with oil, keep in the fridge and consume within 4/5 days.
