You know that

Juniperus L., more commonly known as juniper is a plant with few water requirements, so it is easy to find it in places not easily populated by other plants: mountains, where frequent frosts make water scarcely bioavailable, and Mediterranean environments, where aridity dominates in the summer months. It is a pioneer plant that colonizes cleared land or abandoned pastures, with a distinct preference for dry, stony and windy soils
In antiquity it was a plant believed to be medicinal for many uses: as Pliny reports, the fire from its branches kept snakes away Juniper berries are known to all for their use in cooking to flavor roasted or stewed meats and game: perhaps not so well known is their use to flavor gin.

The Volcano Etna Dry Gin project was born from a spring walk among Etna’s slopes and three sommelier friends who wanted to create a product that would tell the story of Etna’s heady smells, scents and aromas through a deeply territorial gin, with a contemporary vision.
Juniper, Gin’s botanical of reference, on Etna – Europe’s most active volcano, also known as “Mongibello o a Muntagna – finds its ideal habitat, as does broom, absolute princess with its dazzling color and scent.
In the infusion, hazelnut is added for more roundness, wild fennel that lends pride to the spicy notes and bitter orange for fresh, expressive acidity. The result is Volcano, a gin with elegant features and an aromatic and spicy character.
The tale of Etna through gin is also expressed in the aesthetics of the mighty glass with a sophisticated design and the lava stone cap, a little gem of local craftsmanship made of 95 percent volcanic lava fragments.

Pair our Volcano Etna Dry Gin with the blue sheep’s milk cheese with Gin.
Also pair the blue cheese with the lemon ginger juniper orange blossom honey or with the pears with gin and wash with a glass of Volcano Etna Dry Gin.
